Hello and welcome to this site. This site attempts to create an online album of transport related photographs. Not only using my own collection of photographic images but also those images held by the Armstrong Railway Photographic Trust.
My own photographic images have been taken using a Canon 500N for photographs taken on film and more recently a Canon EOS 300D for digital photographs. The images taken by the Armstrong Trust photoraphers have been taken on a variety of mediums and with a array of different cameras. Of which you see a small section on this site.
The Armstrong Trust collection now contains in excess of 200,000 images, held on glass or film. For some time to come the collections held are being sorted and catalogued. In the future the trusts intends to launch a website with more information relating to the trust and it work in saving images for posterity. The trust members do also give presentations using the contents of the collections available to us.
Questions regarding the trust or any of the images can seen on my site be left in the leave a message facilty. |
